Baby Party, Nov.28

At work we had a “Rinfresco di Benvenuto” (refreshments of welcoming) for Federica and two other babies born around the same time.  All three babies got to come up to the office, and we had a good spread of food for everyone in the company.  We had various types of focaccia with cheese, zucchini, mushrooms, or onions, a variety of breads, sliced prosciutto and lardo, cubed mortadella, a huge salami, blocks of gorgonzola and parmesan cheese, walnuts, grapes, carrots and celery, fruit pies and a giant piece of nutella-slathered bread in the shape of a baby bottle.  To drink, there were bottles of natural and sparkling water, Coke, and red and white wine/champagne.

Federica was the oldest baby, with one boy two weeks younger, and the other girl a month younger.  She was also the smallest, and she had the least amount of hair of the three.
